Assalamualaikum wbt and have a good day all my beloved,
As usual, I'm so exciting to join World Hijab Day again for next year. Every year on February 1st, WHD is bring different hashtag to create awareness over the world to stop violence and harassment for Muslim hijabi women.
Founder of WHD, Sister Nazma Khan is awarded by Meta and Mark Zuckerberg as she is the one person who start that campaign.
I was start this campaign in year 2020 with first tagline, #Hijabophobia with collaboration Farah Saeed Trust, World Hijab Day and Naimm Academy . Followed the second tagline #DressNotOpressed on 2021.
"I am Muslim and wear hijab is my identity to show that I care my aurah well. Even, you are not pious, wear a hijab is compulsory as Islam religion urge to cover aurah even you are not perfect well. I can't #UnapologeticHijabi to people who don't respect especially women to wear their hijab because hijab is like the crown on your head. Just imagine, when someone take down your crown, then you must be upset, right? Same goes the hijab. Please have some respect for hijabi women because Allah (The Most High) urge Muslim women to care their aurah as this obligation in Islam."
